Earlier this spring, after three-plus decades of helping East Idaho motorists hit the road with a variety of new and used cars, the folks at Broadway Ford were facing a crossroads of their own. The quandary sounded pretty simple: how and where would they choose to expand their growing business?

The best option turned out to be the dealership’s namesake property, which now sprawls over 48,000 square feet on seven and a half acres at 980 West Broadway in Idaho Falls.

“Our number one reason for expanding was that we felt that we needed more customer parking, and our building also needed updating,” said dealership manager Ann-Michelle Jones. “People knew where were at, and we had the land. It was time.”

Established in 1984, the dealership has displayed extensive interests in community programs such as 4H, local high schools, the Idaho Falls Police department and many local events. That includes the grand-prize sponsorship of an F150 truck at the upcoming Snake River Duck Race, set for Aug. 8. (See Page ## for details.)

Broadway Ford is also a perennial readers’ award winner in local print media, and has garnered numerous honors including the "Business Appreciation Award" from the Idaho Falls Police Department, "Quality Dealer Award" from Time Magazine and "Presidents Award" from Ford Motor Company. To boot, Broadway is the largest Ford dealership in Southeast Idaho.
