To see a cowboy dressed from head to toe in pink is one thing; to see an entire rodeo crowd dressed in pink, that’s a sight not to be missed. Dust off your pink boots, chaps, shirts and hats and join EIRMC at the War Bonnet Round-Up for the Tough Enough to Wear Pink rodeo on Friday, July 31, to support breast cancer awareness and get your rodeo fix all in one night.

Spectators will enjoy free giveaways, a raffle fit for the west, and tons of helpful information and resources on breast cancer awareness. You can also stop by the pink booth in the Sandy Downs courtyard during the rodeo for raffle information, as well as more information on the fight against breast cancer.

This year, EIRMC is encouraging women over 40 in our community to make the Pinky Promise to get an annual mammogram and to do regular self-exams to help catch breast cancer early. One in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer, so it’s never too early to start taking responsibility for good breast health.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., so don’t forget your pink garb and don’t miss out!

“Tough Enough to Wear Pink” is a Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA)-supported event, with rodeos across the nation participating in this concept.
