All of that sounds like a nice lineup for any summer calendar, right? Now imagine all those events combined into a packed weekend celebration — all at the same venue.
Northgate Car Wash Express has lined up an amazing two-day recreational extravaganza called the Carmus Jamboree, set for August 14-15 at Sandy Downs.
Country platinum artist Justin Lynch is set to perform Friday night and Journey (featuring former vocalist Steve Augeri) takes the stage Saturday. Christian music sensation, The Nashville Tribute Band, will open for Lynch, and southern rock legend Molly Hatchet will open on Saturday, followed by a dance party until midnight with $10,000 in prize giveaways.
In addition to the concerts, attendees can also expect to find the “car” in Carmus with a two-day car show and Saturday cruise-in. Other featured highlights include a kids’ fair, arts-and-craft fair, talent show, a battle of the bands, lawn mower races and a Saturday BBQ cookoff.
