Teton Radiology in Idaho Falls has installed a state-of-the-art 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT) suite.  The new CT captures 128 images per second both reducing exposure and shortening the amount of time patients are required to be on the table.  While the longest CT exam takes only fifteen minutes, many patients can expect as little as five minutes on the table.

Judy Mathews, supervisor at Teton Radiology, says, “Patients are surprised at how quickly the new CT completes their scan.  For some patients, it takes longer for them to change their clothes than to have their CT.”  Additionally, the new system provides dose-reduction technology taking patients safety to the next level.  The new scanner is in a remodeled suite featuring hardwood floors and soft lighting creating a comfortable, private area for patients.

Teton Radiology is located at 2001 S. Woodruff, Suite 17, Idaho Falls and for patient convenience has extended their CT hours until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To schedule an exam, call 524-7237.
