In the recent news of Highland High School’s devastating fire, a local cheer team has created a GoFundMe to support Highland’s cheer team.
On Friday, April 21st, Highland High School of Pocatello suffered a devastating fire, destroying the band and choir rooms, cafeteria and gymnasium. Highland’s Cheer Team lost everything in this tragic fire, breaking the hearts of not only Highland’s Cheer Team but local cheer teams too.
The Bonneville Cheer Team from Bonneville High School has set out to support Highland by creating a GoFundMe designated to replace the equipment lost in the fire. “The Highland Cheer Team has set a high standard for cheer in Idaho. We at Bonneville have always looked up to them and their head coach, Jessica. We have always been impressed by their kindness and generosity. We really want to try and give back and help them if we can,” said the Bonneville Cheer Team.
The funds will be given to the Highland Cheer Team to replace signs, props, uniforms, etc. Any donations are appreciated by the Highland High School, Bonneville Cheer Team and those of us at the Idaho Falls Magazine.
“We know that despite this difficult time for them, they will always be RAM TOUGH!!!” said the Bonneville Cheer Team.
