Returning this winter for an online promotion with Idaho Falls magazine, Broadway Ford has announced the winners of it’s second annual online holiday giveaway. Christmas 2014 was especially cheery for grand prize winner Jane Hymas, who landed a $500 Visa Gift Card and $500 vacation package to Grand Targhee Resort. Meanwhile, runner-up winner Dawn Roth took home a year’s worth of free oil changes.
“You have got to be kidding! The only thing I’ve ever won was a T-shirt,” Hymas told us at Broadway’s prize presentation in early December. “Thank you so much for the wonderful surprise. I am very appreciative! It came to me this morning that I will purchase an overdue new pair of eyeglasses!”
In addition to the Christmas event, Broadway has donated the grand-prize vehicle for the Idaho Falls Duck Races since 2010. (The 2014 winner, Carol Hammon of Idaho Falls, took home a fully loaded Ford F-150 pickup!)
They also organize “Drive 4UR School” events with The Judicial District VII CASA Program, raising thousands of dollars for playhouses. Additional outreach efforts include the Distinguished Young Women Program, Keely Lance Cowboys & Angels Scholarship Memorial, MDA’s Brody Albertson Ride, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, All Veterans Appreciation Dinner, the ISU Chemistry Club, Stockman’s Golf Challenge and a variety of local school programs.
Something that this year’s winners could certainly appreciate is the “Lipstick to Dipstick” ladies-only service clinic, where women can come and learn maintenance and safety tips about their vehicles in a non-intimidating environment.
