I’ve often been accused of “bouncing off the walls” with energy, and with a penchant for coffee (mixed with a certain brand of chocolate milk found locally in Idaho Falls), you can imagine what it’s like being in an office space located underneath mine. (My apologies specifically go out to my poor co-worker with the office below me!) I never thought that someone like me would find a place indoors where I could actually let my energy “runneth over like a cup,” and it was to my hyperactive joy that I came across such a place. A place that embraces ADD/ADHD sufferers like myself and encourages boundless energy: iJump Indoor Trampoline Park!

With all the ever-growing gaming devices these days, it’s often a rarity to find an activity that young children and adults can sincerely enjoy without spending a large check or an extensive amount of time scheduling and planning; thus, the beauty of iJump. Whether jumping along three trampolines into the massive foams pits, dodging balls or practicing aerial moves on a “skateboard” type device, laughter is in no short supply. Since iJump holds no prejudice against looks, age or maturity levels, the trampoline area offers something for everyone and one heck-of-a-cardio workout regardless of one’s fitness level.

In addition to hourly jumping rates, iJump also offers yearly membership for purchase at only $35 a person, and they even provide a variety of classes for people of all ages. If you’re a “shy jumper,” (i.e. you don’t want others to see and then steal your magnificent tricks), iJump offers private rentals for your special events including birthday parties, company parties, corporate events and fundraising.

Before opening iJump, owners Jake and Natalie Lundquist had never owned a business before. "We went to [trampoline] parks in other states and areas to research this. We have kids and wanted something fun and indoors so we just went for it. This was our first experience opening a business,” Natalie said. The indoor park opened in 2012, and for a business that’s been open for just over three years, there’s is hardly a dull moment at the park whether it’s after school hours, a family night or a “date night” for students. With a capacity that allows 75 people to jump at one time (and up to 266 people in the building), the image of magical jumping jelly beans might be an adequate simile.
