Long before the furry, four-legged animals migrate to eastern Idaho for the warm season, the feathered, two-legged ones comes by air. Sometimes hitting the first specks of open, ice-off water they see.
Much of that water is undeveloped, public land open for all to explore, but do so with mellow resolve.
The thousands upon thousands of birds seek Idaho’s refuges as a place to rest and refuel. A wild bed and breakfast stop for the spring journey to their fated nesting grounds.
