About the Zoo
What do you know about your neighborhood zoo? Did you know that the Idaho Falls Zoo was the first zoo in Idaho to be accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums? I.F.’s small zoo has made big waves of change, educating the Idaho Falls community and participating in over 40 species survival plans. The zoo holds more than 300 individual animals representing 130 species from around the globe, meaning there is plenty to discover with every visit.
