IDAHO FALLS -- Need money for college? Are you an aspiring leader?
Idaho Falls Power (IFP) wants to empower our next generation of future leaders. IFP will award 10 college scholarships to eligible Idaho Falls high school juniors and seniors this year. Each student selected will receive a $500 college scholarship.
Each year, Idaho Falls Power sponsors local high school students at the annual Idaho Community-Owned Utilities Association (ICUA) Youth Rally event in Caldwell. At this rally student have the opportunity to earn scholarship money and gain valuable leadership skills. However, due to COVID-19, the annual event has been canceled for 2021.
Idaho Falls Power is committed to sponsoring our future leaders, therefore the utility has opted to still provide an opportunity for local youth to earn college scholarship money.
This scholarship program is open to all Idaho Falls high school juniors and seniors. The student, parent or legal guardian must be an Idaho Falls Power utility customer.
