Are you wondering how to celebrate Pride month? Idaho Falls Pride is celebrating its 9th year by offering a plethora of activities for the community to get involved this weekend, including dinner at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub, a special Reading Time with the Queens and the main event -- Pride Night with the Chukars.
Although there will be no parade this year, Idaho Falls Pride is thrilled to bring such a wide range of activities to the public. Popular swag items, including sweatshirts, mugs and hats will be available at the game upon donation. There will also be drag performers at the event, including Miss Jay and Mr. Cider, who will be available to take pictures and give away a few remaining tickets to the game.
“I’m excited to see the Chukars in their rainbow jerseys and to see a lot of pride flags around Melaleuca field,” said Kelly McCary, Idaho Falls Pride Development Director. “This partnership with the Chukars is special, because baseball is America’s pastime and this is a nice way to include the entire community, not just the LGBTQ+ community.”

Enjoy pride taps and free swag, 20% of food purchased with a pride voucher will be donated to Idaho Falls Pride. Message the Idaho Falls Pride team on Facebook for your voucher.
Friday, June 18
Reading Time with the Queens
6 p.m.
An LGBTQ+ Pride event for kids and their families, premiering on Facebook & Youtube.
Crystal Sound Bowl Bath & Meditation Event
8 p.m.
Peace, Love, Yoga & Pride: Get your yoga and meditation on with this donation based event for the LGBTQ+ community, sponsored by Elevation Floating Fitness. Text 208-221-2685 to reserve a spot.
Saturday, June 19
Pride Night with the Chukars
7:15 p.m.
Join Idaho Falls Pride and the Chukars at Melaleuca Field for a night full of fun and baseball. Donate food items during the Pride Night game and get a food voucher to the Chukars concessions (while supplies last).
Suggest items for food donations: canned fruit, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, pasta sauce, canned tuna or chicken, bagged or boxed rice, peanut butter, canned chili, canned pasta, or any other food items you wish to donate.
If you are looking to continue to celebrate Pride after this weekend, there will also be Rexburg's First Annual Pride Celebration on June 26th, which will include an art show, pride walk, food trucks, performances and more.
