Eagle Rock Gymnastics Academy

The 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month are open-gym night. All equipment is open so athletes can play at their own pace. Pizza, soda and candy are available for purchase. Group discounts are available. Let your kids burn out their weekend energy before bed at this fun haven.

Body Worlds: Animal Inside Out

Come see the Museum of Idaho's new collection of preserved animals. Learn all about how muscles and tendons work together and more. The Museum of Idaho has curated over 100 specimens including a giraffe and giant squid!

Parent Play Date 

A chance for parents to work on an art project with their preschooler without making a mess at home. Projects begin at 11 a.m. and are led by an art teacher. Each month focuses on a different skill that is important for young minds to master, and each week has a new project so the lessons never get old.

June 5

Teton Dam Marathon

Launching from Smith Park in Rexburg, this annual 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Marathon offers quaint towns, farmland and wide expanses of open spaces. This full marathon commemorates the heroism and support in the wake of the tragedy in June of 1976.

COST: Varies depending on sign-up date

Scenic River Classic

Set at Snake River Landing, this half-marathon takes runners on an out-and-back tour of the Snake River along long stretches of the Idaho Falls River Walk and through several local parks.

COST: $15-40  |  TIME: 7:30-10:30 a.m.

Free Fishing Day

Idaho Department of Fish and Game personnel and volunteers set up several free events at local fishing waters throughout the state to help first-timers discover the joys of fishing.

There are a limited number of loaner-rods and reels, bringing your own equipment is encouraged. All other fishing rules and regulations including creel limits, opening dates and tackle restrictions remain in effect. Always check the seasons and rules for the water where you plan to go fishing. Idaho’s Free Fishing Day is a day to celebrate fishing in Idaho and no fishing license is required.

Psychic Fair

Healing Hands is once again holding it’s huge psychic fair, this time at The Waterfront at Snake River Landing. Psychics, card readers, reiki masters, music, food and wonderful witchy/hippie products! Admission is free; services and products are not. Food by Diablas Kitchen and music by Scratch and The Dewdroppers!

Pride Night with the Chukars

Join Idaho Falls Pride and the Idaho Falls Chukars for a fun night of baseball! The game will play host to the 9th annual Idaho Falls Pride event. The Idaho Falls Chukars will sport special edition pride jerseys, available for a few lucky spectators to take home after the game. Bring a canned food item to donate to the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket to earn a free food voucher at the game.

Independence Day Festivities

Acton Children's Business Fair

11th Annual Grand Teton Gunfights

Come on out to the Eagle Rock Outlaws’ “Hideout” on July 17-18 and see some of the fastest gunslingers in the country competing to be “The 2021 Grand Teton Gunfights Champion.” Men, women and youth shooters will be there to take you back in time to the late 1800s, dressed in Old West clothing and holstering their six-shooters. They’ve even created unique “aliases” for themselves! It’s fast paced, exciting and fun to watch and you’ll meet some great people also!

Roaring Youth Jam

Snake River Greenbelt Duck Race

Thousands of little yellow rubber duckies race down a section of the Snake River in the hope of winning prizes for their “owners.” In addition to the duck race, the day includes a car show, a military display, a photo show, craft and food vendors and more. It’s a quackin’ good time.

Mountain Brewers’ Beer Fest

The event at Sandy Downs, normally held in early June, has been rescheduled for later in the summer. Cost is $40 for general admission; $10 for designated drivers. Proceeds benefit charity.
