Are you already familiar with the Idaho Falls area? There are always new restaurants, shops and more opening their doors. Here are some new places to add to your bucket list as you explore our town:
Hokkaido Ramen & Izakaya
This new restaurant opened quietly in the summer of 2021 at Snake River Landing. You might know the chain from their location in Pocatello. The Idaho Falls restaurant offers a variety of ramen dishes, appetizers, curry and bubble tea.

Traveling for your favorite subs is no longer necessary. The first local Jersey Mike’s recently opened in Ammon and is already serving up the fresh sandwiches the chain is known best for.

The Egyptian
Pop’s Ice Cream is no longer, but downtown Idaho Falls is buzzing about the coffee shop which recently took its place. Coffee isn’t the only item on the menu at The Egyptian. You’ll also find ice cream, fruit juices, psychedelic water, breakfast sandwiches and soup.

Winnie & Mo’s Bookshop
Books and tea. Need we say more? This indie bookshop brings people together with a space for community gathering and plenty of new books to add to your shelf. For more information about the story behind the shop, check out the December issue of Idaho Falls Magazine at idahofallsmagazine.com.

What else is coming? There are plenty of doors preparing to open throughout Eastern Idaho. After much buzz, Jackson Hole Junction announced in 2021 that Ron Sayer Chrysler Jeep Dodge and an apartment complex through Pioneer Crossing will soon begin construction. The car dealership has plans to open in December this year, while the apartments will be under construction through 2023.
Additionally, construction began in 2021 on the Mountain America Event Center in Snake River Landing. The project should be completed later this year, bringing with it sporting events (including hockey), concerts and other major performances.
