Beautiful, elegant and radiant are just a few words to describe a farm of flowers. But these words don’t do justice to the beautiful blooms at Linden Lane Flower Farm. Dahlias, sunflowers, snapdragons, tulips, peonies and more fill the fields, creating a sort of heaven. For years, Linden Lane has poured love and passion into the flower farm and in turn, the success of watching thousands of beautiful flowers bloom.
And while frolicking through a field of flowers is what all of us dream of, Jaime Mayo and business partner, Emily Crofts, decided to live it. In 2020, Jaime and Emily turned their dreams of a flower farm into a reality. “It’s a lot of hard work,” says Jaime. “I’ll admit when I first started out, I had daydreams of just running through fields of flowers, but it takes a lot of work to get to that point.”
Through hard work, dedication and a lot of love, the Linden Lane Flower Farm has bloomed beautifully for three seasons thus far.
“I have always loved growing things,” says Jaime. “Mostly I grew vegetables, but over the years, I grew more and more flowers, always having flowers on my table and giving them away. I never thought anything past that until I found that this was a career path for some people. Then it was an instantaneous decision. I thought, ‘This is what I want to do with my life.’”
With an abundance of flowers, the farm is thriving in its beauty. “The tricky thing about flower farming is that it’s very seasonal,” says Jaime. From May to September, the flowers at the farm bloom on their own accord.
Despite the challenge, Linden Lane Flower Farm creates a multitude of arrangements for weddings, funerals and are especially invested in their floral subscription offer. “I love the floristry part of it all and I think making each arrangement unique is really special,” says Jaime.
