The Share Your Heart Ball has been the must-attend event in the Wood River Valley for over two decades, and this year’s benefit again promises to be a celebration you don’t want to miss. Taking place on Saturday, February 15 at the Sun Valley Inn, the Share Your Heart Ball will bring the community together to support Idaho’s premier children’s cancer nonprofit, Camp Rainbow Gold.
This beloved benefit is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a chance for Idahoans and the Wood River Valley community to come together and give life-changing adventures to children who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families.
“The Wood River Valley has been a crucial supporter of Share Your Heart from the very beginning,” says Camp Rainbow Gold CEO, Elizabeth Lizberg. “This community’s love and generosity have made it possible for us to offer free camps to kids facing cancer. As a result, these kids get an opportunity to take a break from their cancer diagnosis and experience joy and build friendships. This has made a difference in so many children’s lives because experiences define a childhood; cancer should not.”
The Share Your Heart Ball invites all to participate, whether you’re a long-time local or a new neighbor. This spirit of inclusion is one of the reasons it was voted “Best Charity Event” in Sun Valley for over 10 years.
The evening’s festivities will include a new live band, Jersey Street, with dancing into the night. Guests can also participate in the crowd-favorite silent auction, along with a live auction offering unforgettable experiences, including:
- Whiskey and Cigars Under the Stars: A farm-to-table dinner for 20 guests at Hidden Paradise with Snake River Agri Beef paired with exclusive whiskeys and cigars, accompanied by live music from Jamie Falk.
- Unlock the Slopes: Challenger Pass Bundle: In addition to a 2025/26 Challenger ski pass on Baldy Mountain, this package includes a coveted River Run ski locker and parking pass.
- Farm-to-Table Feast in Wood River Valley: Enjoy a gourmet meal for 20, crafted by the Cutthroat Club’s chef, all taking place at a stunning party barn in Bellevue.
- Huddle Up with Boise State’s Head Coach: Dine with Boise State’s Head Football Coach, Spencer Danielson, at the celebrated Baraboo restaurant in Boise. Also, take home a signed, framed Heisman t-shirt from Ashton Jenty.
