Event Details:

From July 7 to August 7, Boise residents will be able to participate in a series of summer learning opportunities at the College of Western Idaho supported by Apple.

Through its Community Education Initiative, Apple works with schools and community-based organizations to bring coding and career opportunities to communities that are traditionally underrepresented in technology. As part of its ongoing work with College of Western Idaho, Apple is supporting:

A summer workshop series for adults, which features:
Six single-day sessions on topics ranging from an introduction to podcasts to photography tips and tricks – perfect for people who want to learn new skills, but are unable to commit to multi-week sessions. The workshops are free, and adults can easily sign up by texting 208-917-3301 or going here.

And, for kids ages 5+, the Onramp Family Summer Camp features:
Three 3-day camps, covering storytelling or STEAM. The camps are free, and parents can enroll their kids online here.
Children ages 5-13 are welcome with an adult.
