Are you a connoisseur of craft beer? If so, we’ve got one ale of a good story to tell you. A new brewhouse is coming to town, and the selection looks promising.

Tap-N-Fill, set to open its doors next month at Snake River Landing, specializes in a type of container that is ubiquitous in beer circles but may sound novel to many here locally. It’s called a growler — typically a 0.5 gallon container that is specifically designed for transporting draft beer.

Tap-N-Fill owners Susan and Jeff Gardner will open Idaho Falls’ first growler station next to MacKenzie River Pizza. The establishment is now under construction at 1494 Milligan Road, near the river and the Greenbelt Trail System right by the landing.

What’s going to be “on tap” at this new business? For starters, it will offer a central location for beer fans to enjoy a large variety of craft beer straight from the tap for at-home or on-site consumption. You can purchase a growler from Tap-N-Fill or refill your own personal container from a selection of over 40 taps.

“We can’t wait to open in Snake River Landing and share our wide selection of taps,” says Tap-N-Fill owner Susan Gardner. “In addition to craft beer served by the pint, we will also have ciders, kombucha, taster trays to sample a variety of brews, and hope to offer mead as well.”

Tap-N-Fill operating hours are set for Monday through Saturday from 12 to 10 p.m.
