Downwind Archery
When you’re ready to learn, you go to the pros. Downwind Archery is a family-owned pro shop with 20 years in business. The shop offers a range of classes that engage both beginners and experts alike.
Classes
Large Group Archery Class

Cost: $20.00 per person
Prerequisites: None
Age: 8 and up
Equipment: Provided, but you can bring your own equipment as well.
Introduction to Archery - Private Lesson

Cost: $25.00 for 30 minutes
Prerequisites: None.
Age: 8 and up
Equipment: Provided.
Intermediate Archery
Dates: TBD
Cost: $10/person or $150 if you sign up for a 20-week run.
Prerequisites: Beginning Archery or equivalent.
Age: 12 and up
Equipment: Bring your own bow and accessories. Downwind Archery will provide targets, arrows and instruction.
Traditional Archery

Cost: $25.00 for 30 minutes

Eagle Rock Gun School and Range
Looking for somewhere safe for target practice? The Eagle Rock Gun School and Range is staffed and managed by NRA certified Range Safety Officers. The range is open to the public and was created with the purpose of teaching safe use of arms.

Hourly Rate: $5 per shooter
Annual Passes: $50 individuals and $75 families

Guns N Gear
Guns N Gear is an indoor shooting facility where shooters of a wide range of skill sets and ages can safely practice. The facility offers range passes for those wishing only to shoot for the day, memberships, firearm rentals, axe throwing and training classes.

Are you looking to specifically finesse your skills in clay shooting? Skyline Gun Club runs a clay sports range right here in Idaho Falls. Participating members and juniors receive discounted prices.

Southfork Archers Club
The South Fork Archers Club (SFA) was founded in Southeast Idaho by combining the Jefferson County Bowhunters with the Wapiti Bowhunters in the early 1970s. The range is currently open without charge to the public, but memberships are encouraged to demonstrate support.
