AMMON -- The City of Ammon recently announced the first Annual Freezin’ for a Reason Swimming Pool Fundraiser to be held on Saturday May 8th at 3:00 p.m., sponsored by Westmark Credit Union and Natural Spring Ice.
The pool will be filled the day before with water that is approximately 45 degrees. The day of the event, Natural Spring Ice will dump 10,000 pounds of ice in the pool.
Cost to participate is $10. All participants receive a Freezin’ for a Reason T-shirt, free hot chocolate courtesy of Sugared Moose Mini Donuts, a Chick-Fil-A sandwich card, other swag bags including prizes donated by local businesses. All proceeds go to the Ammon Swimming Pool operations this summer. We welcome local businesses that would like to contribute swag bag items and prizes to give away. All contributors will be thanked on the City of Ammon facebook page leading up to the event and are welcome to be at the event with signage and a table.
