IDAHO FALLS -- East Idaho Railroad will be removing the unused railroad crossing at Park Avenue, south of W. Broadway Street on Monday and Tuesday, May 24 and May 25. The crossing in front of the Idaho Falls Library will also be removed.
There will be a full closure of that portion of Park Avenue beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, with the road remaining closed until Tuesday afternoon.
The Idaho Falls Library will reman open during construction. Pedestrian traffic to and from the library will be detoured using S. Capital Avenue.
Please reduce speeds, obey posted traffic control signage, and watch for construction crews throughout the work zone.
