IDAHO FALLS – The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce recently announced that they have hit the maximum entries for this year’s Liberty on Parade to be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Therefore, no new entries will be accepted for this year’s parade.
“We knew there would be great interest and support for Liberty on Parade after last year’s disappointment, but we, along with our Title Sponsor, Blue Cross of Idaho, are overwhelmed at the energy and support for the parade this year," Chamber CEO, Chip Schwarze, said. "This year’s theme will be 'Celebrating Commerce and Community' and we look forward to seeing what this year’s participants present at the parade to our community."
Parade entries will be judged prior to the start of the parade beginning at 7:30 a.m. on July 3rd. Awards will be given in the following categories: Best School Spirit Award, Best Band Award, Best Dance Group Award, Best Commercial Entry, Best Non-Commercial Entry, and Grand Prize- Best Entry Overall. Parade entry award winners will be accompanied by a banner displaying their award in the parade.
