IDAHO FALLS - Jackson Hole Junction announced last week that it will break ground on two exciting projects this summer. First, Ron Sayer Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram will be relocating its dealerships to Jackson Hole Junction. The second project is the upscale, 224-unit Pioneer Crossing Apartments complex. Jackson Hole Junction will begin construction on both projects in July 2021.
“Jackson Hole Junction is thrilled to bring two fantastic amenities to Idaho Falls,” said Matt Morgan, one of Jackson Hole Junction’s developers. “And this is just the beginning--we’ll be bringing more exciting projects to Jackson Hole Junction soon.”
The good news for Jackson Hole Junction comes in the wake of a setback: Earlier this year, the commercial center lost its anchor tenant, ShowBiz Cinemas’ Bowling, Movies, and More. ShowBiz Cinemas suffered heavy financial losses due to the Covid-19 pandemic and will not be expanding its business for the foreseeable future.
Due to the pandemic, Mr. Morgan and his partners are re-imagining Jackson Hole Junction, including dining, upscale living, and retail spaces, as well as additional healthcare providers in their plans. They have good reason to be optimistic, too: Jackson Hole Junction’s first hotel, a Holiday Inn & Suites, opened last June and enjoyed a successful first season. The commercial center is looking to add a second hotel in 2022.
“We have big plans for Jackson Hole Junction,” said Mr. Morgan. “We’re excited about these new ventures and look forward to sharing more good news soon.”
