David Hoffenberg serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC). At EIRMC, Hoffenberg has led capital improvement projects totaling more than $25 million and was responsible for several service lines including behavioral health sciences, cardiovascular services, oncology, telemedicine, imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, plant operations/construction and physician recruitment. Hoffenberg has been at EIRMC for two and a half years.
Before his career at EIRMC, Hoffenberg worked at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he served as the Vice President of Operations and Ethics and Compliance Officer. He has also held administrative roles at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colo. and Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Va.
Hoffenberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Oregon and a Master of Health Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a native of Colorado and enjoys the outdoors, particularly skiing and mountain biking at Grand Targhee and other resorts in the region.
