Another busy year has passed for private air travel at Avcenter Inc., but the demand is not showing any signs of slowing down. Private air travel remains a top priority due to health concerns stemming from COVID-19. Additionally, those drawn to the company because of the pandemic are becoming repeat customers, even as restrictions loosen and life returns back to normal.
Since 1979, Avcenter has made a name for itself by providing a specialized service primarily focused in eastern Idaho, western Wyoming and southwestern Montana. Whereas the market area itself spans across the continental United States, Canada and Alaska.
Avcenter runs a fleet of executive-class charter planes featuring a pair of B200 King Airs, a Citation Ultra and Citation XLS, all of which offer complimentary Wi-Fi. The main goal of the premium air chartering company is to provide a high-level service on an upscale aircraft. Flying privately provides convenience and flexibility. Whether a person is going to a meeting or a game, they don’t have to worry about meeting a commercial schedule (and any potential layover nightmares) thanks to the services provided by Avcenter.
Overall, Avcenter maintains five locations with four full-service fixed base operators (FBOs). Avcenter’s headquarters is based in Pocatello, with other locations in Idaho Falls, Nampa, McCall and Salmon. They are the only full-service fixed based operation, which includes fueling, maintenance and aircraft ground handling in eastern Idaho. At their recently remodeled FBO in Pocatello, Avcenter is constructing a new hangar, set for completion this summer. It will be large enough to accommodate most GulfStream Jets coming in at 150x200 feet.
Other services Avcenter provides include:
Maintenance: Avcenter has one of the largest maintenance facilities in the northwest, helping the company to meet complex schedules and maintain aircraft to air charter standards.
Flight School: Avcenter provides high-quality one-on-one training from private pilots to Aircraft Technical Publications (ATP) at their flight school located in Idaho Falls.
Air Attack: Air attack planes coordinate aerial firefighting aircraft over wildland fires. They provide vital eyes in the sky for firefighters on the ground and ensure safe aviation operations.
Scenic Flights: Tours to view breath-taking landscapes are provided throughout Idaho.
In addition to these services, Avcenter’s sister company, McCall Aviation, has recently added a brand-new Quest Kodiak turboprop to their fleet. Picture selecting a small group of friends, loading up your gear and flying out to an area with exclusive access to hunt game. During the summertime passengers can fly into the backcountry to take one of the many trips provided. These trips include a variety of adventures, such as whitewater rafting and exploring the Idaho Centennial Trail.
Book now with Avcenter if you feel these flights are singing your name. Flights are already filling at a rapid rate and when it comes to the adventure of a lifetime, missing out isn’t an option. For more information about Avcenter visit www.avcenter.com or call 800-350-0737.
