The Bank of Commerce Grandstands are going to shaking with hard-rock fun on Friday, September 1st when Incubus comes to town. Since their formation in 1991, iconic multiplatinum Los Angeles rock band has consciously and continually shifted their perspective with each subsequent album, preserving the spirit that initially drove them and simultaneously challenging themselves as artists and human beings.
After their first two albums, Fungus Amongus (1995) and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (1997), the band earned mainstream recognition with the release of their 1999 album Make Yourself which spawned several hits, including the band's highest charting song "Drive".
By 2017, the band’s sales exceeded 23 million worldwide, while landing four Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and one #1 album. They’ve graced the stages of festivals everywhere from Lollapalooza and Air + Style to Download Festival and Pinkpop in addition to touring alongside the likes of Linkin Park, OutKast, Moby, Jane’s Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age, and many more.

Bull Riding Championships
Date & Time: Saturday September 2nd @ 7:30 pm
Have you ever been on one of those mechanical bulls that spin and jerk you around until you fall off? Remember how it starts off really easy and slowly becomes more difficult? Imagine starting at the hardest level that little bull offers minus the security of a control panel and a cushion under your feet, add in flailing hooves and some horns, multiply that by about a hundred and you might have an idea of what it’s like to be a contestant in the Bull Riding Championships at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. Aptly referred to as the "most dangerous eight seconds in sports," the fine art of bull riding requires a rider stay atop a whirlwind of chaos using only one hand to hold on. Make sure to get your seat early, though it's doubtful you'll spend much time in it with all the excitement packed into the Bull Riding Championships. It's gonna be wild! Join in on the hair-raising excitement on September 2, 2023.
Western Truck & Tractor Pulls
Date & Time: Sunday September 3rd @ 7:30 pm
Featuring the best truck and tractor pulling vehicles from across the entire western US, Live A Little Productions presents the Western Truck & Tractor Pulls. The show will feature multiple competition classes, from the 10,000+ horsepower multi engine tractors, to ground pounding super modified 2 wheel drive pickups, and local competitors with gas and diesel pickups! Reviewed as the “Highest Energy, Highest Paced” tractor pull series in the entire US, this event will keep you on the edge of your seat with nonstop action and entertainment! In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical The Jim Gaffigan Show, which he wrote and produced with his wife Jeannie, and his widely popular stand-up comedy specials, Gaffigan has guest starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from Portlandia and Bob’s Burgers to the HBO cult hits Flight of the Concords to dramatic roles in Law & Order.

The Fair always has an exciting closing with the yearly sell-out Demolition Derby! Combining classic cars with creative driving and mud, the Derby never disappoints the packed grandstand arena. There is only one rule for the Derby: keep moving . . . if you can. No matter how we say it, the Demolition Derby is still one of the most exciting events of the Fair.
