As the leaves change color and begin to fall, the scenery of East Idaho becomes a striking sight. Whether you love road trips for the scenery, a troll through the trees or getting the perfect shot of the sunset, these four destinations will not disappoint.

Enjoy the fall colors at these four destinations in East Idaho:

1. South Fork

The South Fork of the Snake River runs 66 miles across Idaho, giving visitors in many areas the opportunity to sight-see, fly-fish or spot wildlife. Make your trip to Swan Valley or Palisades Dam to see the South Fork in its golden and crisp season.

2. Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park offers visitors a pleasant view year round, and especially in the fall. Red, orange and gold leaves fill the area and with a sight of the remarkable mountains. This park offers astounding views and trails remain open during the fall for hikers.

3. Yellowstone National Park

Plan your visit to Yellowstone National Park to experience breathtaking views and opportunities for photography, fishing and more. Yellowstone is a popular destination in the fall for its late-season colors, and if you love animals, the wildlife can be spotted more regularly as they prepare for the winter.

4. Fall Creek Falls

Fall Creek Falls is an incredible waterfall and is located just 45 minutes east of Idaho Falls. These falls offer visitors an unforgettable experience and during the fall, picture-worthy views. Bring your family for a family-fun adventure or your camera to experience this amazing waterfall.
