Art Walk

Planet Glee

Aug. 8-10

Roaring Youth Jam

The Roaring Youth Jam is a fun-filled art festival along the Idaho Falls River Walk. The 3-day festival includes art tents and community activities along the east bank where kids (and adults!) can get creative with paint and crafts. There are performances by local acts throughout each day. All activities and events are free.

Aug. 10

33rd Annual Great Snake River Greenbelt Duck Race

Thousands of little yellow rubber duckies race along a stretch of the Snake River with the hopes of winning prizes for their “owners.” Along with the duck race, this event includes a car show, military display, craft and food vendors and more.

Family Mud Run

The Family Mud Run will be held at Sandy Downs for another year of fun-filled activities. The run will include a kid-friendly obstacle course for all ages and abilities.

Great Snake River Triathlon

Heart of Idaho Century Ride

The ride follows the scenic Snake River south of Idaho Falls through verdant farmland, Grand Teton views and striking high-desert-vistas. The ride begins and ends at Snake River Landing. Proceeds are donated to children’s education.
