EISF draws in big performers to its Grandstand Events in 2021

Eastern Idaho State Fair is pulling out all of the stops in 2021 with big-name performers taking up the stage, as well as all of the traditional fun that we all return for year after year. Plan on picking up your tickets easily so you don’t miss out on this year’s fun.

Sheryl Crow

Friday, Sept. 3 @ 7:30 p.m.

Nine-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter Sheryl Crow takes the stage at the Eastern Idaho State Fair on opening day! Over her decades-long career, Crow has become an American music icon. With multiple No. 1 hits such as “All I Wanna Do,” “Soak Up the Sun” and “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” Crow has had more than 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Five of her albums have been certified multi-platinum, and she’s sold more than 35 million records worldwide. You won’t want to miss this chance to “soak up the fun” with Sheryl Crow!  

Bull Riding Championships

Saturday, Sept. 4 @ 7:30 p.m.

The fine art of bull riding-- aptly referred to as the “most dangerous eight seconds in sports,” the fine art of bull riding requires a rider to stay atop a whirlwind of chaos using only one hand to hold on. Make sure to get your seat early, though it’s doubtful you’ll spend much time in it with all the excitement packed into the bull riding championships. It’s gonna be wild! 

Western Truck & Tractor Pulls

Sunday, Sept. 5 @ 7:30 p.m.

Featuring the best truck and tractor pulling vehicles from across the West., Live A Little Productions presents the Western Truck & Tractor Pulls. The show will feature multiple competition classes, including 10,000-plus horsepower multi-engine tractors, ground-pounding super-model 2-wheel drive pickups and local competitors with gas and diesel pickups. Reviewed as the “highest energy, highest paced” tractor pull series in the entire U.S., this event will keep you on the edge of your seat with nonstop action and entertainment!

Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo

Monday & Tuesday, Sept. 6-7 @ 7:30 p.m.

Are you ready for two unforgettable nights of bare-back riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping and more?  The Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo (PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year in 2019) returns to the Eastern Idaho State Fair! The rodeo is proud to have the best livestock in the world from Powder River Rodeo and D&H Cattle. They were nominated as one of the top 5 PRCA stock contractors in 2019. This marks the 10th time the Powder River Rodeo and D&H Cattle were selected as one of the best out of 80 PRCA stock contractors in the United States and Canada.

Motor Madness

Wednesday, Sept. 8 @ 7:30 p.m.

This motorsports variety show features 1) Monster Trucks competing in certified racing and freestyle shootout, 2) Mini Monster Truck freestyle, 3) Pro Motocross Freestyle doing aerial backflips and 4) ATV Quad Wars. This family-friendly show has something for everyone, including some special surprises for the kids! So bring the entire family out to be thrilled and filled with great fair food!

Jeff Dunham

Thursday, Sept. 9 @ 7:30 p.m.

Third Eye Blind

Friday, Sept. 10 @ 7:30 p.m.

Going strong for over two decades, Third Eye Blind have broken their own attendance records with 2019’s Summer Gods tour. With hits from the late ’90s/early 2000s “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper” and “Never Let You Go,” this rock band dominated the charts. Don’t miss this outstanding performance!

September Slam Demolition Derby

Saturday, Sept. 11 @ 7:30 p.m.

The fair always has an exciting closing with the consistently sold-out demolition derby! Combining classic cars with creative driving and mud, the derby never disappoints the packed grandstand arena. There is only one rule: Keep moving...if you can.
